Press release from Kreativpool Deutschland August 1, 2013"Grimms Kinder" The anthology films, "The ABC of Death" and "The Profane Exhibit" have led the way and now Germany's horror filmmakers combine to create an anthology film too.

 

Nine fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm will be retold by the horror filmmakers from Germany and "reinterpreted".

Nine fairy tales and nine directors who will present the tales from a different viewpoint 

These directors will make their contributions freely and without any artistic limitations.

 

Timo Rose (MemorieZ, Barricade, Game Over). Will the wolf lying next to grandmother  also rob her of her innocence? "Red Riding Hood".

 

Filming will continue into the autumn of 2014.

 

The tales are connected by an intermediate story from the  project initiator Thomas Goersch (Yoyage to Agatis, Carcinoma, The Profane Exhibit and Cry, Queen of the Night) will provide the directors with that story .

 

"Please do not feed" is his motto in which he will take seasoned horror films for a ride.

 

Gradually the other directors, their actors and the filmed fairy tales will be announced.

The goal is for a cinema premiere and DVD release.
